Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer basic knowledge of construction or telecommunications, though it is not required.
• We are looking for someone with a strong desire to learn and build technical capability.
• You should be able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude are important to us.
• You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills are needed.
• You should be able to follow directions and safety procedures.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid drivers license is required.
• Previous experience in telecommunications, utility, or construction is a plus, but not mandatory.
• You must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• You should be able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
• You must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
• You should be able to distinguish color-coded fiber cables.

• We assist Fiber Splicers with fiber optic cable preparation and splicing.
• We learn to perform fusion splicing on single-mode and multi-mode fiber cables.
• We support OTDR and power meter testing.
• We read and interpret basic construction drawings and splice diagrams.
• We install fiber enclosures, terminals, and related telecommunications equipment.
• We support aerial and underground fiber construction crews.
• We maintain accurate records and documentation of completed work.
• We follow all company safety policies and customer requirements.
• We operate hand tools and basic telecommunications equipment safely.
• We keep work areas, tools, and company vehicles clean and organized.
• We travel to job sites as needed.
