Entry-Level Financial Analyst

Acupath Laboratories is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Financial Analyst. This hybrid position supports both the accounting and financial analysis functions within the organization. Responsibilities include data entry, bank reconciliations, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, supporting audit processes, and generating internal reports to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a foundational understanding of accounting principles, and a good eye for accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Update bank and credit card transactions.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform basic accounting tasks such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and invoice processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information.
• Assist senior accountants in the preparations of monthly and yearly closings.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
