Job Title: EDM Machinist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong CNC machining experience and thrive in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.

• Program and operate Wire EDM equipment efficiently.
• Program and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes.
• Perform frequent setups and changeovers throughout the workday.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
• Contribute to process and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards, ensuring work is done right the first time.
• Work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team.

• 35 years of experience programming and operating Wire EDM equipment.
• 35 years of experience programming and operating CNC mills and CNC lathes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The work environment is a production machining setting that is fast-paced. The regular shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, averaging 40 hours per week. We offer flexibility with shifts starting as early as 5:00 am or ending as late as 5:30 pm to accommodate family life. Saturday work is rare and, if needed, is typically from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. EDM operations involve long runs and require setting up and running programs via USB on three machines, while also assisting with other CNC machines. The shop is a high-mix, low-volume environment with tight tolerances and requires gauging parts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ringgold, GA.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Ringgold,GA.
